In one of my classes at Full Sail University for my Internet Marketing program I had to come up with a visual mobile ad campaign. I did the presentation for a company I have been working with recently. The mobile ad campaign is designed to market to homeowners that are behind on their mortgage and facing foreclosure.
Foreclosure is a real problem still facing America today. In the presentation I used some foreclosure statistics from the real estate website RealtyTrack.com that shows that on average 80,000 go into foreclosure each month. Thus making the services this company offers very needed and Mobile ads are one way to reach the homeowners in need of help.
In research for the presentation I came across some web articles that I used as resources for the presentation that I would like to share now. The First was a blog post from a Google Blog post by Anurag Agrawal posted on Thursday, November 29, 2012 entitled “Dialing up on click-to-call”. The article talked about how conversation rates go up with mobile ads if there is a click to call option.
Next, I used a article by Gregory Kennedy dated November 14, 2012 entitled “5 Creative Best Practices to Double Mobile Ad Performance” on the Clickz.com that talks about keeping the ad simple. Simple is key; if there is too much information it will turn people off.
Last of all I found a blog post by Rich Brooks published July 27,2011 entitled “8 Ways to Maximize Your YouTube Marketing Results” posted on the Social Media Examiner that talked about supporting YouTube marketing efforts via other social media channels.
Take a minute to check out these great articles, they are very informative about mobile marketing. Also please take a look at my presentation posted below.
