I did not either FSNET in the “Full Sail In The News” section. The original article appeared in Yahoo! News. The article by Casey Tanous of Full Sail University goes into some of the new technology that is used and what part students have made for the project. The article also announced that Full Sail University has been recognized as one of the “Top 100 Social Media Colleges” by Studentadvisor.com, in part because of the school pushing limits to new heights like with the YouTube channel, which I have to say is a pretty cool channel.
Not only is this new YouTube channel good for showing off what students have done, it is also a great way to market and grow the Full Sail brand and help with enrollment. Using things like YouTube channels for marketing is part of the course curriculum for the Internet Marketing Bachelors and Master Degree programs of which I am a part.
Another article that I found in regards to using YouTube channels in marketing was posted on the Social Media Examiner entitled “8 Ways to Maximize Your YouTube Marketing Results” The Article talks about the need to brand your YouTube Channels and having great content. Having visited the Full Sail YouTube channel I am proud to recognize that Full Sail is doing things right. Good to know that my fellow students both past and present are getting the job done.
